This is a companion piece to my other skeletal painting, The Cloak of Life! With this one, the growth emanates out of the figure as opposed to growing on top of the character. The idea for this was that allowing yourself to heal, express your truth, or reach your goals, can be a long and arduous journey but ultimately what is created is beauty and joy.
